Your Gaming Highlight of 2009

As yet another year draws to a close what was your gaming highlight of 2009?

Was you one of the 1st ever players hitting the online mode of Modern Warfare 2 or perhaps you finally achieved a platinum trophy on the Playstation?

For me the release of Modern Warfare 2 and seeing all the news stories regarding the airport stage is one of my highlights but that was kinda over shadowed by the purchase of my first ever XBOX – and its the elite 360 too. Up until now I have been a Playstation fanboy but now I have 2 consoles to share my attention with – all though I recently bought the XBOX 360 I can’t touch it until after Christmas Day. Thats by orders of my management (her indoors)

Another highlight was my introduction into Rockband and Guitar Hero universe that happened this year. I am unsure how I have managed to own a Playstation for so long and not had this game!
